2020 James R. Roche Award of Excellence
Award: The award is presented at the annual meeting to the individual who attains the highest score on the Qualifying Examination for the year.
2020 Arthur J. Nowak Award of Excellence
Award: The award is presented at the annual meeting to the individual who attains the highest score on the Oral Clinical Examination of the ABPD.
2020 Dr. Ronald A. Bell Mentor of the Year Award
Purpose: This award was created to honor and remember Dr. Ronald A. Bell.
Award: This annual award will be presented at the COD annual meeting. A $2,500 donation will be made by the FCOD to the pediatric dentistry program of their choice or choice of FCOD/nominator in the case of memorial awards.
Criteria: The nominee must be or have been a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, possess attributes critical to being a mentor, have a history of supporting pediatric dentists in their careers in professional and personal levels, led other pediatric dentists by example to be a leader in our profession.
Nomination: The person submitting this form must be a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Due Date: Nominations must be submitted or postmarked by March 31st of each year prior to the annual meeting. The FCOD executive committee will correspond and choose the recipient prior to the annual meeting.
